The use of Dynamic DNS enables clients to provide one unique name for both IP addresses. With Dynamic DNS checking both IP addresses every 5 to 10 seconds it is able to immediately discover if one of the IP addresses is unavailable. The Dynamic DNS will then switch over to the second available IP address seamlessly without customers knowing there are any difficulties behind the scenes.
